Past one year and all the activities conducted through this period have been summarized on the Steering Committee meeting of the Twinning project.

Future goals and directions of the partnership were predefined during the 5th meeting of the Committee that manages the ongoing twinning project between the Civil Service Bureau of Georgia and Government of the Republic of Lithuania.

The head of the Civil Service Bureau Ms. Ekaterine Kardava stressed that co-operation between the sides is fruitful and effective and that so far all activities have been realized within their original time-frames. According to her, collaboration with the foreign partners is very flexible and as a result the Bureau has taken into account many recommendations, some of which are already being implemented.

Ekaterine Kardava underlined, that the twinning project does not serve only to CSB’s requirements, but represents an effective tool of development and professional strengthening for other Georgian public institutions as well. This is extremely important, since it will ease the implementation process of the upcoming reforms in different state offices in the future – stated Ekaterine Kardava.

The EU-funded Twinning project between the government of the Republic of Lithuania and CSB commenced in 2018 and is in support of the implementation of the civil service reform in Georgia.
