Work on Ethical Guidelines for Public Servants Continued
16 May 2014 On May 13-14 , the Civil Service Bureau and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) organized work meetings in order to develop Guidelines on Ethics for Public Servants. The event was a continuation of the meeting held on November 1st, 2013 and was hosted by German dbb Academy experts in cooperation with the representatives of Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Transparency International Georgia and the Civil Service Bureau.
In the course of the meeting, work on the development of the Guidelines on ethics and the curriculum for trainers was continued. The aim of the project is to design a module for workshops on ethics for public servants and the training of Georgian trainers (distinguished trainers will be given dbb Academy certificates). After the completion of the workshop, the newly recognized trainers will conduct trainings for public servants on ethics.
The Civil Service Bureau is actively engaged in the training of civil servants and plans to implement similar projects in the future.
