The Civil Service Bureau within the framework of the USAID Good Governance in Georgia Program (G3) commenced training course for public officials in Human Resources Management. The training started on January 24, 2012 and will last till January 28, 2012. 

The aim of the training course is to re-train the HR managers working in the Georgian civil service both in theoretical and practical skills. The training will be conducted by an international expert from USAID, Ms. Myra Shiplett, in cooperation with the Georgian trainers.

The participants will receive training on the following topics: The Modern Systems of Human Resources Management in Civil Service; Raising Staff Motivation, The Evaluation Criteria, Developing Job Descriptions; etc. The heads and other HR department employees of public agencies are invited to participate in the trainings.

It should be noted that trainings of public officials will be continued in the following directions: Leadership Skills, Introduction to Project Management, Innovations in Public Administration, PR and Communications, Integrity and Ethics.

The Civil Service Bureau will continue organizing similar trainings sessions for public officials in the future.
