Director of the Civil Service Bureau of Georgia, Irakli Kotetishvili, participated in the seminar “Strengthening the civil service legal system: The role of leadership”, organised by the Department of the Civil Service in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, on July 7 2013.
The Civil Service Bureau has conducted extensive research on the good practice of whistleblowers’ protection. The culmination is a paper evaluating the recommendations of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) concerning development of a draft law on whistleblowers’ protection.
On the 22nd May of 2013 the director of the Civil Service Bureau, Irakli Kotetishvili, delivered his speech regarding the Civil Service Reform in Georgia at the Global Conference on “Modernising public service: improving the efficiency for sustainable development” held within the Astana Economic Forum.
